                                                             High School Prep Camp
High School Prep Camp is designed to prepare high school players for the upcoming preseason and season. High School Prep Camp focuses on sharpening and improving each players technical and tactical skills, improving fitness level, and mentally preparing high school players for the upcoming season.

 

High School Prep Camp is offerred from July 30th - August 3rd. This time frame gives players one week after camp to practice skills and improve fitness based on exercises learned from camp. After this week we encourage players to taper off and rest before preseason.

Daily Topics
Monday: Ball Control
Tuesday: Juggling, Volleying
Wednesday: 1st Touch and Passing
Thursday: Heading and Trapping
Friday: Shooting
Each day will focus on the designated topic, tactical possession, and small-sided scrimmages. The goal of the camp is to improve and sharpen technical and tactical skills in preparation for the pre-season. Also, camp will focus on improving speed, agility, quickness, and endurance.

Daily Schedule

5:30-5:45 Welcome and Topic of the Day
5:45-6:00 Ladders, Warm-up and stretch
6:00-6:45 Drills
6:45-7:30 Possession, 1v1,2v2, etc.
7:30-7:50 Fitness
7:50-8:00 Cool Down and Stretch

This camp includes a summer training packet. After registering for camp a summer training packet will be mailed out in the first week of June with instructions on soccer drills (ball control, passing, shooting, juggling) and fitness exercises (sprinting, agility, quickness, endurance). This well-crafted packet provides work outs that balance training and rest in order to provide adequate preparation for the high school season.

The packet includes:
1) Calendar with daily work outs
2) Empty Calendar to fill out completed exercises and track progress
3) Instructions on all exercises
